Final Fantasy

Heres a little gripe of mine.

I LOVE the Final Fantasy series. Or to be specific, Final Fantasy 8 was the AWESOME-est Final Fantasy to me. Not surprising, because Final Fantasy 8 was the only one i played.

I loved the epic storyline, the feeling of being involved, the hot looking female lead, those CRAZY big swords that everyone seems to be carrying around WITH ONE HAND, half-naked summoned Guardians and more.

The feeling just isn't the same with MMORPGs, i feel. The feeling of involvement just isn't there. I mean, in MMORPGs (like WoW), we can go and kill Arthas, of course. Then, the next week, WE CAN KILL HIM AGAIN. Its kinda, weird to me. (Though, his lewt is so awesome I'd kill him anytime of the week, if i could..)

In a straight up single player, if you miss your chance, BAM its gone. (unless you had a save). Things like Diablo or Septerra Core, always felt much more EPIC than WoW ever felt for me. Maybe thats why I took to extreme solo-ing in WoW.

Another of my personal gripes is that they'd stop make them freaking awesome RPGs, and ONLY releasing them to consoles! I don't own a console and i wanna play them too! The latest Final Fantasy releases for PC have been MMORPGs, and are subscription based too.

The other method if i wanted to play them is to use an Emulator for the console, which at most times are unstable, and my laptop can't handle that amount of load anyway.

Ah well, guess I just gotta wait for Diablo 3..
